FROM VIETNAM TO FLORIDA
A journey that became Horizon.
André and Liz Amorim discovered the ceramic traditions of Vietnam while traveling through the country. Drawn to the vessels' generous proportions, mineral surfaces and individual character, they imagined a place for these objects in South Florida.
The name Horizon recalls the mountain views that stayed with them. Today, each piece is selected for the way it can hold a room, mark an entrance or give a landscape a lasting focal point.

We select pottery as architecture in miniature. Proportion, surface, weight and silhouette must work together so the piece feels grounded in its setting.
Natural shifts in tone and texture are not imperfections. They are what make an object personal, tactile and impossible to repeat exactly.
